I don't want to speak for meme meme, but I believe the NG900s had a lot of black plastic/rubber on the front and rear bumpers (independent of the body color). Many people painted part or all of the plastic/rubber areas to they look more like bumpers on the 9-3s. *IF* that is what happened, then it is no surprise that the paint started flaking. If you go to any of the major Saab websites and look at the galleries, how does your bumper compare to those in the gallery? This might be what meme meme is referring to. Otherwise...
