Subject: Re: UK insurance for 9000 Aero

I live just outside Bristol and insured my 9000 1996 Aero with Tesco - £516.75 per annum. £300 excess, with legal cover and protected no-claims bonus. Plus - and it's a cost many overlook, Tesco do not charge for temporary cover notes for a loan car while yours in in for a service. I found out too late that my previous insurer wanted £15.00 for each cover note and I was having 2 or 3 services each year - it all adds up ! AA were much more expensive. The highest quote I had was from AXA Direct at £799.25. Try their web site for a quote. nicko in article aealki$c56$1nopsam5.svr.pol.co.uk, Toby Field at tobyfieldnopsamail.com wrote on 13/06/2002 6:44 pm: > I have found that in recent years, the AA have been more expensive than > most, not just for insuring myself.
