Well, I think the theory is that the blinky-light will let even the least-educated thief out there realize that *something* is odd about that particular radio, which may be enough to scare them off. If nothing else, when they try to sell the first one they steal to someone who *does* know better, it'll educate them to the point where they don't steal a second... Dave
