I have a 1994 2.0tCS that covered 195,000 miles with the only problem being the DI cartridge that needed changing at around 160K. Other than that, no problems at all. It was serviced by Saab until around 100K then just had oil changes carried out by a local fast fit company. That was THE problem. They did not use a Saab filter and it failed at 195K. One new engine later I have just replaced the suspension springs as they were a little past their best by 200K. Other than that, it has been a cheap reliable car to own. If/When I can afford one, I'll get a 9-3 convertible.
