I have an 87 9000S that does the same thing in the morning, now that the weather is warmer. It didn't do that when the cool weather was around. Try cleaning your AIC (Automatic Idle Control) valve and your MAF with a good cleaner, Berryman B-12 Chemtool or B & G Throttle body cleaner. Give your throttle body a cleaning too. When you put everyting back together check for vacuum leaks. You can do that first. If your idle won't settle down, you may need to replace your AIC valve. I just ordered from Sobstory.com. The one for my 9000 was $119 instead of the $185 list price. The Saabsite.com had the AIC valve for $138. I went with Sobstory. I have bought from them several times. The prices and service are excellent. Ken Washington 87 9000S 232,226 miles 87 900S 83 900T Geo wrote: > > My 93 9000CSET stalls once or twice after I start in the morning.
