Subject: HELP!!! a newbie to the "saab world"

I just test drove a 99 Saab 9-3 today and loved it. I'm currently in the market for a used car and am interested in finding a very safe one...preferably a Saab. Being new to this make of car, I have no idea what I am looking for when I look in the classifieds. Can anyone tell me the difference between the 900 and 9000 models circa 93-98? Is there a safety difference between the 900 and 9000? If I got one of these, I would probably get a convertible one. How do the convertible tops on these Saabs hold up? Also, are all of the 900 and 9000's (or all Saabs for that matter) turbos? If I didn't get the 900 or 9000, I would probably look into the 9-3 and 9-5's. Again, can anyone please enlighten me as to the difference, same questions as above, between these two type vehicles? I'm lookin for a SAFE vehicle that will go for MANY miles...I've heard that Saab's can go for 100K plus...does this go for all the Saab models? I mean, if I do get a 9-3 or 9-5 it is going to have probably around 45-50K already on it...should I expect it to go much further in re to mileage? ANY help would be greatly appreciated....I know I asked alot of questions, but Im completely new to these cars....Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me out here....
