Subject: Re: Firewall?

I usually start at the fuse block and trace the bundles of wires to the firewall. Can usually sneak another wire through the grommet, or alongside it. Keep in mind that the grommet is seated in the metal and you want to stay away from the edge. On my 99 9.3 I found a handy place on the right side of the car just above the kick panel. On my 9000 (87) I found a place in the area of the brake/clutch pedal mountings. In my case I install 2-way radio equipment and I use a larger gauge wire for high currant draw. Fused close to the battery as someone else suggested.
