I didn't look at the original poster's form, but I somewhat agree with him. I do my on service on most of my vehicles and I put together a simple form to keep track of my service. I date it, sign it, and staple all relevant receipts to it. The condition of the vehicle should pretty much reflect the actual care given it, not a bunch of receipts from a garage. After all, the garage may do the service, but it doesn't do the driving on the car, and we all know folks who drive theirs into the ground. Receipts don't really mean lot in that case. Over the years, I've bought a few vehicles. Some from private owners. Most had receipts, mostly parts, some service. I've taken both for face value, and then took the car in for an inspection by a professional mechanic. And then I inspected it. That's really the best way to insure that the vehicle is good. Form or no form. Cheers!
