so i just bought a beautiful saab 900se, the v6.... and i have issues... you guys graciously answered my question about reverse not working properly... my local saab dealer looked at it and said the reverse synchro was worn and needed replacing... while they looked at that, they noticed several other things.... first, they noticed that the right front strut was broken.... this after i asked the dealer on the test drive what that "knock" i heard from the suspension was.... he assured me it was just a stiff suspension.. (i do believe the car has the upgraded suspension and the 16 inch wheels.... ) they also tried to hook it up to the ECM, only to find that it wasn't even there.... someone had ripped it out.... i also had them look at the TCS, as i had some questions about it... the TCS apparently had a screwdriver jammed in it????? i was told this is the way some mechanics choose to fix the TCS when it is broken.... the dealer has agreed to fix it, and in the mean time has given me a cheap loaner ford focus.... when it is fixed i will have someone double check it to make sure it is not entirely botched... however... i might still have the opportunity to bail out of this car...... it's a shame, as i love the car, and i know i want a saab, and most likely this year and model.... but am i being dumb? my wife tells me i should throw away the car immediately.... please prove her wrong ;-)
