Leif, The screw driver trick seems like a good idea. My alternate plan was to get some kind of compound that I could mold around the ring like a plastic compound or epoxy, so that I could engage all points on that ring. I figured if I could set a couple of studs into the epoxy, then I could lever on them to turn the ring once it had cured/set. Screwdrivers are probably easier. Thanks very much!
