Dave, I agree, somewhat, with the poster. The new 9^3 is quite 'same' to me. I was not too enamored of the NG900/C9^3 either. I like that the 9X and 9^3X have a personality to them. I just hope that I do not have to get an awd, raised vehicle just to get a Saab hatch. I like the 5 dr (unlike most Americans based on sales volume, anyway) and will miss it.
