Remove key - then re-insert key - simple procedure to achieve what you want - no lecture - just a straight forward answer. And now for the lecture: The radio can also be turn on without any key in the ignition, this is quite a good feature when cleaning or working on your car, cos you don't have to put the key in and risk some pillock nicking your motor. The radio turns itself off after a set time (1 hour I think) - clever those Saab people. Vinny
