I've printed your message out, and will keep it for the next time. I felt embarrassed bringing the car in to the dealer to have a new headlight bulb installed. It remains a puzzle to me why this kind of operation is so much more difficult on a Saab than on other cars I have worked on. A fog light on my 900SE had blown before the headlight bulb. At that time, there seemed to be general agreement in this news group that changing THAT bulb was a complex operation. So I just assumed that this was another one of those famous Saab quirks.
