Subject: Replacing/Fixing Clarion Tape Deck 88 9000T

My radio has started emiting this horrid high pitched squealing noise, it sounds like there's a short going to the speakers overlaying the squeal over the regular radio. The radio does work, and can be heard in the background but the squeal doesn't go away. It used to be minor and would go away on it's own, and it used to stop when I hit the side of it, but that doesn't work either. So, either somethings broken or a wire has come loose. The latter is fixable, I just have to get the thing out and I can't seem to figure it out. Before I start taking the entire dash appart, I thought I'd ask and see if anyone knows a shortcut or the 'best way' to remove the radio. Also, has anyone ever had this happen before? Will it be fixable or should I just replace it? Cheers, Sean
