Subject: Re: C900 twin cooling fans ?

The way my 82 8v turbo is wired, the passenger side fan is hooked to a temperture switch, the driver's side fan is wired to the AC system. The AC system has a low freon switch, so, if the system is low on freon, the AC won't engage, the therefore the second fan won't ever come on. For glancing at my Bently manual, it appears that the '88 cars were wired the same way. The reason for the aftermarket fans is the price of a new cooling fan. They run about $450 USD.
