If it's really bad first thing in the morning, then I'd guess you have a leak at the back, somewhere between the filler cap hole and the tank. Alternatively, it could be a leak at the fuel pump seal (a big rubber fitting, accessible under the boot (trunk) floor). Take off the floor at the back, and have a good look around. Inspect the filler cap hole, the flexible hose, all the connections, etc. There's a vent pipe which comes off the top of the filler assembly, and goes to the front of the car. Make sure that's still connected at the back. Good luck, -- Grunff
