I guess that shaky steering could easily be something as straightforward as incorrectly balanced wheels, but you obviously want to be sure before committing money on the car! My NG900 steering shakes a little at 60mph (which can be quite annoying because I quite often like to cruise at that speed), and I have always put that down to wheel balance. I will be needing a new pair of front tyres within about 2000 miles anyway, so they'll be re-balanced then as a matter of course. It might also be a good idea to check for bulges, or other structural problems within the tyres themselves.
