The engine is basically the same, but there are enough small differences to make fitting a 9000 engine in a 900 very difficult. As for the tranny, they are totally different. The 9000 engine/tranny are mounted transversely, while on a C900 it is mounted longitudinally. A 9000 tranny would not fit in a 900. Period. -- Grunff
