ItĄs a heavy problem! I owned a 900i (uncharged). It glew the head when it lost all coolant during a leak at the block (additional part for block-heating). The internal instrument didnĄt show a rising temperature. I noticed the catastrophy whwn I left my car in the dark garage and saw the exhaust pipe glowing. Now, my 9-5 2,0 LPT had a leak at the head at 28.000 mls, it got to be equalized (???). Next time happened a leak to the outside at 43.000 mls. It was just the gasket. My service-man told me, that it would be a very frequent occuring mistake. Combined with the lot of other mistakes: Is a SAAB a good car? Maybe a nice one which reaches Your haeart, but...
