I'm looking at getting a 99 Saab 9-3 in the next 9 months or so and I've got a couple questions about the car. Typically, whenever I mention this to people they say something to the extent of, "Didn't they used to have lots of quality issues?" I'd like to think that all these have been repaired over the years, but I don't know for sure. Most of the websites that have reviews either focus strictly on the fact that the car is sporty, or complain about minor problems. What sort of major problems am I going to face? The resale value of the car is quite low. This is one of the reasons I'm so drawn to it, but is this also indicative of problems with the vehicle? And finally, can anyone point me towards some dealers or websites that have a good number of used Saab's in the states? I'm familiar with cars.com, vehix.com, but I can help but feel that there are some better places that I'm missing. Thanks! -- matthew w. russell http://amphibio.us
