: Hi
: I am in the proces of trying to find a really nice example of the car in the
: subject heading. The problem I am having is that some of the cars I have
: seen have been advertised as 'S' when they do not have the side skirts or
: 'aero' style wheels although they claim the car has a high pressure turbo.
: Can this still be an 'S'?
: Am I completely mistaken as to what 'S' means?
: PLEASE could someone out there explain to me what the car should have (in
: regards to body work and mechanicals and anything else) if the car is
: advertised as 'S'.
: Essentially what does S mean?? (I'm in the UK should the S mean different
: things elsewhere).
: Also some of the cars did not have S labelled on the boot lip.
Well, having already posted and looked through some materials on
saabnet.com, I'm even more confused. It would appear that the 'S' usually
indicates a Non-turbo model with an options package making it nicer than
the standard 900 (i.e., alloy wheels, sunroof, etc.). I'm not sure what
the differences would be in the convertible.
