I think something's wrong, my Aero isn't like that. Especially in third gear, as soon as I punch it, the car accelerates like crazy! I don't do this often, though, as the car isn't broken in yet... If your Aero's turbo lag is worse than in your '88 9000T, something's definitely wrong. I remember my '88 having lots of lag at low rpm, but none, really, at 3,000--your Aero shouldn't have any at 3,000 rpm, either. Go get it checked out... good luck! Jason '02 Aero
