Thanks for recommending www.townsendimports.com. I think I tried to look at it awhile back and had trouble veiwing it so I didn't give it much consideration afterwards. Now I am finding lots of information there to help in other parts of my 900T I have been thinking of. At any rate, I think I can now adjust the shift linkage back to where it should be once I get that firewall boot replaced. And yes, I will inspect that heat shield for the catalytic converter...tonight.
