Subject: Re: SRS warning light

John I dont know if its any help, but when my 9000 registered a fault code I replaced the faulty sensor, but the code remains for a few "fresh" start ups before the system clears the code itself... Point one being, after a few correct cold starts, maybe the system will itself reset, or (and this is what i did) disconnect the battery for around 5 mins. Reconnect and the system should reset itself. Hope this helps Davey John Shore wrote: > I have been in the habit of not using the dealer's after sales service > department since my 9000 CS warranty expired. > > I recently had some work carried out and found the SRS warning light > illuminated. > > The mechanic says it can only be reset and the dealer? > > Is this so? > > Thanks > John Shore > Sydney > >
