Yes, I get a rattle too. I think it's the seatbelt height adjuster mechanism. Mine was silent for the first 5 years after I bought the car, then I discovered the height adjustment when cleaning one day .... and it's rattled ever since - both sides but mainly on the left (passenger's side, UK). I've tried various positions, but can't achieve silence again. Never mind, these days it's drowned out by the gearbox whine!!!!
