You just posted a private email. That is regarded to be a move of supremely bad manners by a whole lot of people. 2. The way to win friends and influence people does not include writing to the owner of a site to tell them, in effect, "your site sucks so I'm starting my own". 3. If you're going to promote your site, follow their rules. If that includes putting a link back to Saabnet.com from your site, well, then, either do it, or don't post your site on theirs. Their site, their rules. Follow them, or get out. Seems to me, all you're accomplishing by this is taking a lot of people from ignorant and apathetic towards your site, and turning them into disinterested and antagonistic towards your site. I can't imagine how this is in any way a way to succeed in whatever it is you're trying to accomplish. Dave Hinz
