Subject: C900 Temp Gauge Readings

I've been going between Los Angeles and San Francisco once a week this summer in my 86 900 Turbo and I have some questions about cooling. It gets HOT in the Central Valley-100+- and the temp gauge sits at a little over half way in that heat on level ground. On the climbs on I5-Ten Mile Grade out of Santa Clarita and the Grapevine going south-the gauge will get to 3/4. Is this OK? Using the AC doesn't seem to affect it. Phil Brown
