Subject: high speed handlind in '92 900i

I just bought a beautiful '92 900i (I live in northern Germany, that is basically a 900s, but with steel wheels. no turbo, 195-60 15" p-6000s. The car is stock, except that the rear has air shocks, because the former owner towed a boat. The suspension is tight and true, but the wind really whips the car starting at 140 kmh, and 160kmh (99mph) is a little scary. This is probably something that is not an issue in most countries, but here this is not really fast. I want to go 180. How do I get more stability up there? I think that the front end is slightly high, adding wind drag, but I'm pretty sure that the front end is all stock. I had sport lowering springs in a Golf, but I hate to put aftermarket parts in suck a fine car as this. Also, It's my instinct that aluminum rims would help too, But I wonder how much. I welcome advice.
