I have driven a Benz with the speed limiter and I agree, it is very good. There is a lever (which I think also handles the cruise control) which can be adjusted while both hands are on the wheel. This sets the upper speed limit you want. As soon as you reach that speed the car holds and you can't accelerate any more. It will slow down when your foot is released slightly. If you floor the accelerator, it disengages and you can get out of any situations that may present. If it is on the new 9-3, I don't know. I haven't seen it mentioned in any of the press information.
