I WAS thinking that the > surging idle pulling at the car felt like timing, though. The PCV hose is one of the first to go, it would pay to work through the whole lot. Poorly set ignition timing won't cause hunting - it'll just lead to poor running, poor fuel economy, etc. Good luck. -- Grunff
