Subject: High milage 9-3 drivetrain wobble.

Hi all, I've just bought a UK 2000 9-3 SE 2.0t (or possibly T) manual with 96K miles on the clock. God knows who the first owner was, but at 48K miles a year, I'm glad I don't have his job! I'll, no doubt, be bombarding the group with stupid questions whilst getting to know the car, so apologies in advance if I get on anyone's wick. Here's the biggest worry I currently have. When accelerating fairly hard, I get a low frequency wobble which I can feel through the body of the car, but mainly through the gear lever. It can happen at a range of speeds depending on what gear I'm in, but the frequency of the wobble is always about the same. When I ease off the power, the wobble goes away. Is this normal on these cars, or should I be worried? I thought maybe the engine mountings might be getting tired or something. TIA Colin.
