Subject: Re: turbo - regular or hi-octane?

I've had much better results in boost from 94 octane. Much less detonation which lets the turbo boost consistently. On a similar note, I was filling the boat with 87 one day, through a white funnel tube from a jerry-can. The gas looked like apple juice. When pouring 93 through the same funnel, the gas was clear like water. what do you want going through your injectors? It's not just boost and performance, but a cleaner engine. -chris Geo wrote: > > I have a 93 9000CSET. Is there any advantage such as gas mileage & > performance to using hi-octane gas?
