Done the deed! We took the 900 for a long test drive yesterday and decided to buy it. We managed to get a couple of hundred pounds off the price and we get a 1 year warranty and a 30 day no-quibble exchange guarantee so I'm as pleased as punch. We managed to take the car for a spin up the motorway - which is where it will spend most of its working life anyway, and it was superb. A real cruising machine which will eat up the Scottish miles and should be good in the small amount of snow we expect up here in Perthshire. The clutch is a little heavy, but no where near as heavy as on the land rover so it should be fine. Thanks again for the recommendations. The thing to swing the deal was a conversation I had with a local independent specialist who (after the warranty period is over) will be the servicing agent. He knows the car and gave it the thumbs up! Geoff
