Hi, I've just put 4 gallons of diesel in my petrol-driven 1987 Saab 9000, and then driven it for about 100 yards until it collapsed in a smoking heap. A regular garage has failed to drain the diesel from the car - I don't know why, I'm obviously no mechanic - and they say I need to take it to a specialist Saab dealer. There are none open to get an estimate from as today is Sunday, and obviously with a car as old as mine there comes a time when the repair bill just isn't worth it, so does anyone know what kind of work is involved in getting my car going again? The garage had thought they could do it in about an hour, so if a specialist Saab garage can do it with different tools in the same sort of time I'll be pleased. On the other hand, they might need to do all sorts of things like removing the petrol (gas) tank - does anyone have any idea? Thanks in advance, Jez
