: 17 MPG!??! in a 2.0LT(t) something is wrong. It could be as simple as an
: air filter. Both mine get 25 in town and 30 on the road. one is a 2.0T
: (1992 C900) and the other is a 2.3T (1995 9k). 17 sounds more like a v6

: consumption for 2 fills? Reliance on the SID is not suggested as it CAN
: be wrong.
I've been wondering about fuel consumption myself. I have a 1995 2.3na 900
S, and I get scarcely better than 20 mpg between tanks. Could a faulty
catalytic converter have this kind of an effect? I noticed a "rotten eggs"
sulfury smell a couple times when I first got the car, but not since then.
I've owned the car about 9 months now.
