I'm coming up on my 2nd oil change for my Aero, and I'm choking on the cost of Mobil 1 synthetic. This stuff is $6 a quart or more! Is Mobil 1 really necessary? Quaker State has a full synthetic for half the price, as does Castrol. I used non-synth Castrol oil in 3 Saabs for the last 15 years with no problems, but the Aero manual specifically says you should use a good synthetic. I do a lot of short trips (5-10 mi) in this car, so maybe the Mobil 1 is justified... Gary
