No, it is a cable clutch. There was a rumor of a 'kit' to 'upgrade' a cable clutch car to hydraulic, but I have never been able to get Saab NA to admit that it exists. It would be a pretty major process to change from cable to hydraulic. If this is the original cable, I would get a spare and keep it in the trunk with the spare tire. When it fails, the chance of you being near a repository where it is is stock is probably remote. I carried a spare with me when I had my NG900. KeithG tino wrote: > Keith, > > Thanks for the advice.
