Just one question, how do you account for the plans to sell the V10 TDI Touareg in the US? That engine has > It's a chicken and egg situation for diesels over here - nobody sells > diesels in the US so no one buys diesels in the US. Everyone I have > let drive or ride in my Golf is utterly amazed by it. I would buy a > Saab diesel in a heartbeat. For me it would be a very difficuly choice between a 9-3 coverted for LPG or a diesel. Especially the increased road taxI for diesel cars would only make a diesel viable if you drive big distances (e.g. 25k to 30k km/year or more and the Netherlands isn't that big). I read a newspaper article yesterday, which basically stated that because of the fact that the diesel is becoming more popular in Europe, the oil refineries have an overcapacitiy for petrol, which is exported to the US, thus limiting changes in the petrolprices. The same article states predict an even higher number of diesel cars in the future. -- Mager
