THe whistling turbo is the least of your worries... Try porous cylinder heads, valve gear failure, water ingress, failed MAF sensors leading to turbo failure, 4 ECU software upgrades, if you want more let me know. By the way the engine is so unreliable, the manufacturer has now stopped making it for the Saab range.
