Here's something for you to try. Go out to google and do a search through the newsgroups on "check engine light". In fact, to make your life easy, I did it for you: http://nospam.com/2b47 I got ~ 59000 hits on "check engine light". I didn't bother to check "CEL" or other derivations. Adding the word "saab" to the search got me 630 hits. Since half of those posts are your continuous complaints here, it seems that Saabs are not prone to this more than any other vehicle. Bob for you
