Subject: '97 900 SE no longer starts

Car is a 1997 Saab 900 SE turbo manual transmission, originally sold in Canada. It has the CD changer and all of the seats are heated. Yesterday I removed the antenna assembly as per the technical bulletin in order to remove one of the washers (antenna would not retract fully). It turns out the mast will need to be replaced as it is jammed and no amount of WD40 or twisting would get the two frozen sections to move. Reassembled and reinstalled the unit. Checked the conenction. Radio would not turn on. Returned to the trunk checked the connections again along witht eh rest of the wiring in that area. Everything looks good. Radio now works with the key in the unlocked position. Trouble is the car will no longer start. I have noticed that the window is a bit slow when going back up, and that the car alarm will not start immediatly after locking the doors. I need to wait for a minute before the remote will arm the teh alarm system when previously would arm right away. When I try to start I either get nothing or I get a series of rapid clicks with the following dash lights flashing: park, ABS Battery and Oil. Thikning that it may be a low battery I used a battery pack to boost the car, still no luck starting it up. All of the fuses in the box checked out as ok. Have I made a common newbie mistake and overlooked something fundamental when self servicing a NG Saab? Any suggestions or help would be appreciated. Thanks.
