Yes, Saab is great when everything is working, but it is a car prone to expensive and continual repairs. At 125K miles, you are prone to: 1. Turbo repair/replacement. 2. Head gasket failure. 3. Heating core burnout. 4. Cooling system leaks. 5. Exhaust system replacement. 6. Odometer failure (cheap part but expensive repair). 7. Engine mount replacement. 8. Drive belt replacement. 9. Numerous vacuum leaks. I would strongly advise you to stay away unless you so love this car that chronic and costly problems can be tolerated. Because the only thing more certain than the great and fun driving experience of Saab is that sooner or later you will pay through the nose for the privilege. Good luck. > > Tw Return to Main Index
