If my brother had believed that a Taurus was a good choice [chop] Has it every occured to you that the dead don't write testimonials about how their car performed in the accident that killed them? You describe yourself a Saab fanatic. A fanatic is over enthusiastic and has uncritical devotion to something. Your antecdoal evidence proves nothing. I had a co-worker who whose mother was told by a police officer that she would have died had she been wearing her seatbelt during a rollover accident. He uses that bit of advice as justification for NOT wearing a seat belt. There are many safe (and unsafe) automobiles in production. This is a fact, not my opinion. http://www.iihs.org/vehicle_ratings/ce/html/best_picks.htm There are many manufacturers listed, including Ford and Saab. :)
