It is interesting that they don't praise the British product, the Jaguar, over the Swedish products, I think it came in last place. Incredible to see Volvo praised so much, for both handling and ride quality, though it seems Volvo has improved greatly the ride of their current cars over the predecessors, though not necessarily handling. BMW won, they deserve it I guess, but it isn't always the best car for passengers, here the Swedish cars are more relaxed and have much more comfortable seats. Maybe the Saabs tires were overinflated, I think in both Saabs and Volvos the tire pressure can affect the ride more than in the German cars. New 9.3 is highly rated in most magazines. EVO seemed to like it better than the Volvo s60, sometimes it is just who's testing it rather than the car. I like the Swedes, Germans are great machines but something about them, they lack a certain warmth or something, can't quite put my finger on it but most of them, Mercedes, BMW, and to some degree Audi feel like quality machines for drivers, but a bit hard to the touch and decidedly firm over the road when being driven in them. > > strangely enough the car has been featured in all of the motoring tv > programmes in the uk and it has got I think really good reviews and opinions > on the car in every department and the main rival in the tv programmes seems > to be only the Audi mostly, know what I would rather have though > Yep. Well, Saab 3 competes with Volvo s60, Audi A4, Infiniti G35? and Acuras, Mercedes C class, Jaguar X, but not Camry, Accord, Altima, which are more quality family cars vs. premium sport sedans of the former group.
