Seems to be somewhere in my mind, that I've seen old film of racing on the ice, essentially 'run what you brung' with studded tires allowed (but back then you could drive on the roads with them, too); nudging the snow bank meant exactly that, and wasn't too costly, usually. Yup, slaloms in the parking lot... used to be something like that run in the Toronto area -- I think it would be a blast! Time we got back to the roots of 'competition' -- lets see if yours is better than mine! Private entry for the Monte, anyone?
