My own Dad was a safety nut and I inherited much of that - yet I still drove like a maniac often when I was a young lad. Offer him the stereo, point out how unique the Saab is and how he'll by way ahead of his friends driving boring, common, American cars. You might have a shot at it. If that doesn't work, you can get a set of new alloy wheels from Tirerack for about $150 each, that will probably hook him. Bob
