Instead of drilling holes in the roof, could you use one of those
magnetic mounts used by Citizens' Band people?  (Or once used by
them -- it has been ages since I saw any.)  Typically a mag-mount
would fit a whip antenna and have a wide base containing a strong
magnet.  You could add guy wires, I imagine.
