Subject: Broken turbo on '99 9-3 TiD?

Hi, Recently I hear a fluttering high pitched (bearing?) noise when I accelerate. This noise is clearly coming from the engine and I believe this might be coming from the turbo. The noise is easily percepted at normal driving conditions from about 2000rpm and acceleration, from about 3000 rpm on (130km/h) it is permanent. It can also be reproduced by idling at 3000rpm. Up to now I do not suffer performance, but this situation will not last forever. Can anyone help me with (trade in) spare parts supplies or own experience? I do not feel much for paying about 2500 euro's at a saab dealer for repair (raw estimation by dealer). My car has about 95000 km's and since I own it nothing but trouble: Breaking knobs on the manual heating, excessive consumption (around 8l/100km gasoil), broken inlet air massflowmeter (2X!), broken waterpump on holiday this summer, squaking dashboard noise, squaking suspension, ... Your reposts are welcome in dutch, french and english Thanks in advance, Serge Driessen
