I have the same car, only black. Though being a US version, you get more toys...grrrrrrr.... Best car I have bought to date. Looks like you have stains of some sort in the footwell - driver side. could be bad picture..... Worth checking when the Turbo was last changed, if you can. If not, check to see if there is any smoke, (white smoke) on start up/idle - sure sign of a pending turbo failure. Also when driving, ALWAYS let the car warm up before you put your foot down as the Turbo's are prone to failure if pushed to much, when cold. Also worth checking how it handles at speed in terms of the tracking/balancing of the wheels. If your steering wheel wobbles at 70mile per hour, have them realign the wheels as your tyres will soon wear out and need replacing - not cheap. See how much brake pad(s) is left on the front AND back. See how much tyre tread is left - min 3 millimetres. Physically check the hood - up and down for defaults in the mechanism - get some one else to do it whilst you look around the back. If your feeling brave take it to a MANUAL car was and check for leaks.... One would assume the dealer has given it all the usual checks, plus I would imagine there would be some form of warranty with this car so you shouldn't have to much to overly worry that much, they are a sturdy car and arguable best looking conv on the road :-) Andy -- Kind Regards, Andrew Walmsley Personal email account Mob: 07879 476800 "TL Mitchell" <tlmitchell99nopsamhlink.net> wrote in message news:RCoJ9.558$fM1.86634nopsamread2.prod.itd.earthlink.net... > Greetings all, > > New to this NG, just gave it a browse and it looks to be a good resource for > shared information.
