Find another garage. Those prices are waaaaay too high. A
rebuilt rack costs around $250, plus 4-5 hours work. As for the
transmission lines, what exactly does he mean by that? There are
no transmission lines...
Take it to someone else, get a second opinion. If you need a new
rack, then it won't cost you anywhere near as much as this guy says.
